The contest of the passion for photography runs under the name of “The Explorer”.
The Explorer is joyfully celebrated every year just before summer.

What are the 7 elements of art photography?
The seven elements of skills-knowledge prowess art photography are line, shape, form, space, tone, color and texture.
Line: A path that guides the viewer’s eye through the frame. Lines can be straight, curved, diagonal, or implied by objects.
Shape: A flat, two-dimensional outline enclosed by lines. Shapes are geometric (like squares) or organic (like natural curves).
Form: The illusion of a three-dimensional object with volume and depth. Photographers use light and shadow to create form.
Space: The area around and within the subjects. Positive space is the main subject, while negative space is the empty area surrounding it.
Tone: The relative lightness or darkness of an area. High contrast creates drama, while even values create a calm mood.
Color: Hues that create visual contrast, set moods, or draw attention to specific parts of the image.
Texture: The tactile quality or apparent roughness and smoothness of a surface. Side lighting helps bring out texture in a shot

Therefore, in simple words, once the contest begins you have to give a minimum vote between all the photos shown below by the contestants, and soon after voting your favourite, leave the same Email in the box above. Then, we will verify that both Emails match and you will be part of the drawing entirely, sending you an Email confirmation.

This contest represents the life of all photographers over the globe: adventure, creativity, patience and the decision to travel anywhere in the world in order to capture the best photo, that unique moment.
Change your perspective by looking through the lens and cross borders through photography.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The reason of this saying holds true it is because a photograph captures a moment in time, and all the experiences, ideas and feelings that go with it. Also, keep in mind that the process should be just as important (and enjoyable) as the results.
📸We will expose your photographs on this page for free digital exhibition abroad and people will be able to vote during the contest and share anytime during and after the contest.
Therefore, the photographs will stay on this page gaining exposure, making your work more visible, connecting with new audiences, the photography lovers, who can discover your visual prowess skills-knowledge art, Let’s Prowess.
As a result, photographers will be credited, we will tag your varied social accounts you may have in your photographs for the curiosity of people who want to know more about yourself, your conceptual depth, how you express your vision, an idea or an emotion through your artistic images.
For this reason, we will ask photographers if they can tell information about the photographs such as when it was taken, where, what time, the reflection or the storytelling behind and we will add it in the description. We will also ask where the photographers are originally from.
The further artists advance in the contest, such as semifinals and final, the better will be because they will be able to showcase another photograph.
And remember, more than the prizes that Fujifilm kindly provide, which are good of course, it is more about your photograph being exposed on the page for a new audience that can reach your prowess art.

HOW DOES THE CONTEST WORK?
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE CONTESTANTS AND THE VOTERS
- TO THE VOTERS: Would you like a chance to win The instax SQUARE SQ1™ camera. To participate, a minimum of only one vote for any of your favourite photos of the contest must be purchased and your email must be submitted in the box provided above at the top of the page. Please make sure you are submitting the same email you provided to vote with, as these will be checked for eligibility when the drawing is held to select the winning Email at random. Happy voting & good luck! The draw and winner will be held and announced here soon after the contest is finished, on the Let’s Prowess website.
- TO THE CONTESTANTS: The Let’s Prowess team will select 3 photos submitted by the contestants that have received a minimum of 35 votes or more to receive 15% discount coupon for any product in our sponsor camera main website. Inspire us through your lenses! All winners will be announced here, on the Let’s Prowess website.
- The contest contains 12 contestants.
- The contest consists of two parts, the first part is Groups / Qualifying Phases and the second part is Rounds / Knockouts.
- Each Group in the Qualifying Phase has 3 contestants, the Groups are: G.1, G.2, G.3 and G.4.
- After the Groups, the Knockouts round come with the Semifinals and the Final: S.1, S.2 and F. They are formed by the winners of each Group played in the Qualifying Phases.
- Every time a Group or a Round is released, EVERYONE, including the participants, will be able to vote for their favourite photos by clicking on the button “VOTE HERE” in the personal box profile, then, you can select the number of votes, introduce your email and pay with Debit/Credit card or Paypal. This procedure is the safest and quickest way to avoid any fraudulent vote and assure that everything is legal and safe. We take seriously the effort and the dedication of every contestant in winning the contest.
- 1 vote costs as little as 2 Euros.
- We will make sure that everyone knows when a Group or a Round is released because we will post it on Let’s Prowess social media a few days earlier before releasing the Group or Round.
- Each voting launched from the Groups and the Rounds will begin active from 9 am to the next day 9 pm, therefore, the duration of each voting will last 36 hours.
- As a result, when a Group or a Round is released, the voting system will open automatically and remain active during around a day and a half, consequently, you will have 36 hours to give votes to your favourite photos in their profile boxes which will show the number of votes. After 36 hours, the system will automatically close the voting and the photo/contestant who gets more votes will move on.
- When the contest begins, each Group and later each Semifinal, will be released each week until we reach the Final. The Final will be released on the further weekend, leaving the period of the contest a duration of 7 weeks.
- The current local time to follow the voting will be United Kingdom time.
- The dates will be announced on Let’s Prowess social media on time to get you ready.
KEY POINTS TO KNOW FOR THE CONTESTANTS
- The contest is for everyone over 16 years old (proof of passport may be asked), from beginners to established professionals.
- Taking part in the contest is FREE. There is no cost involved or fee for entry in participating.
- Entries or sign in on the website is not needed at the moment. To get involved is very simple, you send us privately the photo you want to start the contest and we will assign you a number that will represent you in the contest, and we will tell in which group you have been placed. Later, we will let you know when your group is released, and we will submit your photograph with other photographs of your two opponents at the same time on our platform and social media, when your group is just about to be released.
- All photos must be taken by the own contestants for copyright reasons. If we figure out that a photo has copyright, or, the photo has been taken by someone else, the participant will be eliminated straight away.
- Obviously, the participant cannot be physically present in the photo.
- All kind of styles in this visual art are welcome.
- We would prefer if you take new photos specifically for the contest, otherwise, using recent photos are fine.
- Watermark author in the photograph is permitted.
- No drones shot and no filters photos. It is preferable a Solo photograph to be eligible for the contest.
- AI photos are obviously not allowed.
- A brief description about the photographs will be appreciated.
- The photograph you choose doesn’t need to be related in any way like depicting a similar subject or something like that, you choose any photograph that feels right to you. For example, photographs can show anything you experienced during your travel, it could be a landscape, or an element of the landscape such as an animal, a piece of art or anything else interesting you consider to display during your exploration.
- The contest consists of two parts. The first part is Groups / Qualifying Phases and the second part is Rounds / Knockouts.
- Each of the 12 contestants will be placed randomly among the 4 Groups / Qualifying Phases. Therefore, each Group contains 3 contestants. The contestant will be notified privately by a member of Let’s Prowess in which Group belongs.
- The Rounds / Knockouts are formed by the 4 winners of each Group of the Qualifying Phases, who will all access directly to the Semifinals.
- This is important, the 4 qualifiers will have to send us a different photo than the one they used previously in the Group of the Qualifying Phases. And, the same thing if they access to the Final, the finalists will have to send us another photo different than they used in the Semifinals. Therefore, choose wisely your photos.
