The contest of the passion for photography runs under the name of “The Explorer”.

HOW DOES THE CONTEST WORK?IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE PARTICIPANTS AND THE VOTERS
- The Explorer contest celebrates the passion for photography and travelling. This contest represents the life of all photographers over the globe: Adventure, creativity, patience and the decision to travel anywhere in the world in order to capture the best photo, that unique moment.
- The contest consists of two parts. The first part is Groups / Qualifying Phases and the second part is Rounds / Knockouts.
- Each Group in the Qualifying Phase contains 3 contestants: G.1, G.2, G.3 and G.4.
- The Rounds in the Knockouts are the Semifinals and the Final: S.1, S.2 and F. They are formed by the winners of each Group played in the Qualifying Phases.
- Every time a Group or a Round is released, EVERYONE, including the participants, will be able to vote for the favourite photos by clicking on the button “BUY VOTES” in their personal box profile, then, you can write the number of votes, introduce your email and pay with Debit/Credit card or Paypal. This procedure is the safest and quickest way to avoid any fraudulent vote and assure that everything is legal and safe. We take seriously the effort and the dedication of every contestant in winning the contest.
- The profits from your votes are used to develop further contests and give more opportunities to new future applicants. Together, we build Let’s Prowess.
- 1 vote costs as cheap as 2 pounds.
- We will make sure that everyone knows when a Group or a Round is released. We will post it on Let’s Prowess social media a few days earlier before releasing the Group or Round.
- When a Group, G.1, G.2, G.3 and G.4, is released, the voting system will remain active during two days and a half, therefore, you will have 60 hours to give votes to your favourite ones in their boxes profile, where it will show the number of votes. After 60 hours, the system will automatically close the voting and the one who gets more votes will move on.
- When a Round, Semifinals S.1 and S.2, and Final, is released, the voting system will remain active during one day and a half, therefore, you will have 36 hours to give votes to your favourite ones in their boxes profile, where it will show the number of votes. After 36 hours, the system will automatically close the voting and the one who gets more votes will move on.
- We will leave two or three days off between each Group or Rounds released.
- The current local time to follow the voting will be United Kingdom time.
- The dates will be announced on Let’s Prowess social media on time to get you ready.
- The Groups and the Semifinals will be played in midweek and the Final will always be played on weekend.
KEY POINTS TO KNOW FOR THE PARTICIPANTS
- This annual contest of visual art is for everyone over 16 years old (proof of passport may be asked), from beginners to established professionals.
- Taking part in the contest is FREE.
- All photos must be taken by the own contestants for copyright reasons. If we figure out that a photo has copyright, or, the photo has been taken by someone else, the participant will be eliminated straight away.
- Obviously, the participant cannot be physically present in the photo.
- We would prefer if you take new photos specifically for the contest, otherwise, using past photos are fine.
- The photos can show anything you experienced during your travel. Therefore, it could be, for example, a landscape, or, you can simply show an element of the landscape, such as an animal or a piece of art or anything else interesting you consider to display during your explore.
- The contestants will send us their chosen photos privately, then, we will assign the photos a number, from 1 to 12, and this number will also represent the participant along the whole contest.
- Photos will be shared far and wide on Let’s Prowess social media.
- The contest consists of two parts. The first part is Groups / Qualifying Phases and the second part is Rounds / Knockouts.
- Each of the 12 participants will be placed randomly among the 4 Groups / Qualifying Phases. Therefore, each Group contains 3 participants. The participant will be notified privately by a member of Let’s Prowess in which Group belongs.
- The Rounds / Knockouts are formed by the 4 winners of each Group of the Qualifying Phases, who will all access directly to the Semifinals.
- This is important, the 4 qualifiers will have to send us a different photo than the one they used previously in the Group of the Qualifying Phases. And, the same thing if they access to the Final, the finalists will have to send us another photo different than they used in the Semifinals. Therefore, choose wisely your photos.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The reason this saying holds true is because a photograph captures a moment in time, and all of the experiences, ideas, and feelings that go with it.
There is no time like the present to become a photographer. Get ready to live an eye-catching adventure, all you have to do is pick up the camera and start shooting.
Remember: it’s all about enjoying yourself. Have fun with this exciting balance between your passion and spirit of adventure, and keep in mind that the process should be just as important (and enjoyable!) as the results.
